The agent searches the corpus, reads the sections it needs and writes its answer from that text, with every citation linked back to the regulation. It works in at most four steps and is told to say so when the corpus does not answer the question.
Federal Register proposed rules under 48 CFR and from the Small Business Administration, each marked with why it reaches you: every contractor, your line of business, your NAICS codes or your program.

Each standard's coverage level, the FAR 31.2 sections it supports resolved against the corpus, and what the CAS Board's GAAP conformance project has done to it.

Pick a FAR part and see which agencies have adopted the model deviation text, which still follow the codified rule, and the Department of War memo that applies, readable in full.

A business unit with mixed DoW and other federal work stayed under FAR 30.201(b). The memo is readable in full on the FAR Overhaul sub-tab.

The acquisition regulations of Title 48 of the Code of Federal Regulations: the FAR, DFARS and 23 more agency supplements, held as 10,106 full-text sections and refreshed weekly from the eCFR, plus the Cost Accounting Standards in chapter 99. It is told to answer only from the regulation text it retrieved in the same run, not from memory, and to cite each section it relied on, with every citation linked to that section so you can check it. When the corpus does not answer the question, it is told to say so rather than fill the gap. It has six tools, all reading the stored corpus, and works in at most four steps. Where a FAR Overhaul class deviation covers a part it read, the answer says so.

The FAR Council's rewrite of the FAR, issued as model deviation text part by part. The model deviation text for a particular FAR part is not applicable to an agency until the agency has issued a class deviation. Once model deviation text has been issued for all FAR parts, the FAR Council will initiate the formal rulemaking process to incorporate the deviation text into the FAR, which could be modified after consideration of feedback received.
Under the CAS Board's final rule at 91 FR 56056, effective October 1, 2026, a business unit receiving a single CAS-covered award of $100 million or more is subject to full coverage, up from $50 million. For Department of War work, DFARS Class Deviation 2026-O0006, Revision 1 (30 July 2026) had already applied the higher threshold to business units with only DoW contracts.
The CAS Board's GAAP conformance project has removed CAS 404, 407, 408, 409 and 411, each by a final rule in the Federal Register, with the provisions it kept moved into another standard. The CAS tab shows each rule and where every retained provision now lives.
