DANIELS, Board Judge (Chairman).

Order

The Department of Justice’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) contracted with Turner Construction Company (Turner) for construction of a facility in Clarksburg, West Virginia. The parties disagreed about the extent to which the contract required a professional engineer or licensed land surveyor to be on site for the erection of precast concrete panels. Turner submitted two claims for additional compensation due to such an individual’s presence, one in the amount of $88,161 and the other in the amount of $24,808. An FBI contracting officer denied the claims, and Turner appealed his decision.

On the eve of a scheduled hearing, Turner moved the Board to dismiss its appeal.

The motion is granted. The appeal is DISMISSED.

This is a verbatim capture of the text layer of the Board's own document in Turner Construction Company, CBCA 4742. Nothing is summarized or reworded, and the sections run in the order the Board wrote them. What the page shows and the text does not repeat is the pagination furniture: the page numbers and the rules the Board draws around its caption and under its signatures. The signatures are set back into the columns the Board prints them in, each judge under the name he or she signed, and the typed copy of that name the page carries beneath each signature is not repeated.
